What You ‘ll Be Doing

• Preparing bid specifications and issuing bid requests to major vendors and key suppliers.
• Close communication with approved suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and negotiate delivery terms aligned with company’s quality standards.
• Sourcing new products and alternative suppliers.
• Resolve disputes with key suppliers regarding damage claims, rejections, losses, return of materials, over-shipments, cancellations etc.
• Identifying and recommending opportunities that bring innovation, and optimize cost on services and products.
• Solving problems regarding orders in an efficient and timely manner.
• Supervising, leading and supporting a team of procurement professionals.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of proven working experience in Procurement or Supply Chain.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills both in English and Greek.
• Negotiations expertise and proven people management experience.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

Desired:

• Master’s Degree will be considered a plus.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering
• Understanding of Hardware/Electronics is desirable.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP.
