Sustainability Trainee - Thailand - (1 year contract)

Support of the Corporate Six Senses Sustainability Team with administrative tasks and the implementation of groupwide initiatives and programs. 
 

Key Accountabilities

• Assist in Sustainability Projects: Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of sustainability projects, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and water conservation initiatives.
• Communication: Assist internal communication by developing powerpoint presentations drawing on images and impact statistics from the hotels and various projects.
• Research:Conduct research on best practices in sustainability and share findings and recommendations. Stay on top of industry trends & practices.
• Mission Wellness at Home Office: Help organize fun & engaging sessions and events to educate hosts on sustainability and encourage participation.
• Compliance and Reporting:Review Reports (i.e. plastic, energy, water, waste). Support with data collection & tracking of timely submissions by properties. Create best practices summaries based on submitted data.
• Administration:Participating in team meetings and recording minutes as well as other organizational tasks required to improve efficiency in the corporate team (i.e. support with travel planning, scheduling, bookings, etc).

Required Education, Experience, Technical Skills and Knowledge

• Bachelor's Degree in any related field, ie environment, resource management, community development, health and sanitation, biology, hospitality, sustainability
• Experience or demonstrated interest in: eco-tourism, community-based tourism. purposeful travel, or regenerative travel  
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, word, and excel is a must.
• Experience with MS Calendar, Yammer, and Teams is ideal 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a global team
• Excellent organization skills required (meeting deadlines, prioritizing)
