Our Financial Markets Strategic Business Unit provides a full range of products and services, including inter alia Structured FX and FI Investments, Short-term financing via Repos, Liquidity Management, Cash Management, Interest Rate Risk Management, FX Market Making, FX Risk Management and Commodities Hedging.

Embark on a journey within Financial Markets Operations Business Unit to be part of its endeavour to provide a vital service to the Front-Office by ensuring that all funds flow in a timely and correct manner and that all the necessary documentation is completed.

We are looking for passionate and skilled financial markets operations specialists, dedicated to verify and provide final validation for trades booked by front office and ensure that all accounts are duly impacted within set deadlines. They are also responsible for the system update and maintenance of market, reference and static data, perform reporting to Internal & external customers and respond to queries from clients.

Job vacancy: Financial Markets Operations Specialist

In This Role You Will:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to build and maintain relationships in view of enhancing the customers' value proposition;
• Validate transactions, including sophisticated derivatives, within agreed deadlines  in accordance with set guidelines;
• Resolve trade discrepancies caused from trade failures and breaks;
• Ensure that the processes within Financial Markets Operations BU are in line with regulatory requirements, relevant laws, codes, rules, procedures and standards of best working practice (Re: FX Global Code of Conduct), including MCB Risk policy guidelines;
• Gain greater exposure to relevant techniques and processes in the Treasury business and keep abreast of best practices and updates in the sector towards continuous improvement initiatives.

We are looking for a candidate who has a minimum of:

• Aci Operations Certificate;

• 5 years’ experience in Banking, including 2 years within Financial Markets Operations;

Or

• 7 years’ experience in Banking, including 3 years within Financial Markets Operations

Candidates who meet the below requirements will also be considered:

• Knowledge of treasury, debt capital markets, financial instruments and structures.

A combination of both qualification & experience will be considered.
