The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing targeted SMS (texting) , MyChart and other communication programs to support Atlantic Health’s communication objectives and improve patient experience. This role reports into the senior CRM manager and will play an integral role in driving personalization, segmentation, and customer journey mapping to deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time.  

Responsibilities

  • Partner with IT, operations, patient access, data and marketing strategy and compliance teams to develop and deploy SMS, MyChart and Direct Mail communication programs 
  • Maintain and optimize always-on trigger streams and multi-touch, cross-channel patient journeys  
  • Manage audience segmentation and targeting 
  • Monitor program performance, produce and share response reporting, identify trends, and extract actionable insights 
  • Design and execute testing plans and make recommendations based on test results  
  • Support communication preference and consent management 
  • Maintain audience file hygiene and opt-out/suppression lists 
  • Develop and manage production schedules and calendars 
  • Lead relationships with external agency, production, and fulfillment partners 
  • Contribute to copywriting, editing, image selection and template design if required 
  • Support automation and personalization capabilities development 
  • Support CRM team in data-related enterprise initiatives, opportunities to streamline the martech stack, and development of a 360-degree view of the patient consumer 
  • Track expenses against the marketing budget 
  • Complete additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned 

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field 

  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in SMS marketing, in-app messaging or direct mail 
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in marketing communication development, execution, and optimization 
  • Experience producing response reporting and analyzing program results 
  • Familiarity with segmentation, customer journey mapping and developing patient/customer experiences 
  • Exceptional project management, collaboration, and communication skills 
  • Ability to explain complex data in a clear, concise manner, both visually and verbally 
  • Deadline-oriented and comfortable handling multiple initiatives simultaneously 
  • Healthcare experience and familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g. HIPAA, TCPA) strongly preferred.  This is a hybrid position with the flexibility to work from home 2-3 days each week.  #LI-AW1
