Responsibilities: Under the general direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Information Officer is responsible for the direction and administration of information services. This position will assess overall organizational needs, and develop, plan and evaluate all information services to the organization. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: administrative and technical supervision, budget preparation, department goals and objectives, relevant policy development and decision making, as well as implementation of CMHA-CEI policies and procedures. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the office in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures.
Requirements: Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field from an accredited college or university required. A minimum of five years of progressively more responsible experience in design and implementation of computer systems. A minimum of three years at a senior administrative level required. Must have demonstrated leadership, public speaking, and verbal and written communication skills. Experience with budget and financial management required.
Conditional Employment Requirements: Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a background verification and credentialing procedure consisting of: Michigan State Police clearance check, undergo and pass a Central Registry Screening, verification of a professional license, Medicaid/Medicare verification, verification of an acceptable driving record, educational background check and verification of an acceptable work history. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
