Framlingham Sir Robert Hitcham’s CEVAP is a popular, well-resourced school with 320 children in the delightful market town of Framlingham. Main purpose of the role

To provide high quality teaching and learning to a KS2 class, ensuring pupils make excellent progress, are inspired to learn, and are supported in their personal development within a Christian ethos.

The job will entail

Delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress, creating a stimulating classroom environment, and working collaboratively as part of the KS2 team to contribute to the wider life of the school.

Your Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum
• Provide a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement
• Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and carers
• Take responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils, following school policies and statutory guidance

What you will need

• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and excellent classroom practice
• The ability to create a positive and stimulating learning environment
• A passion for children’s learning and high expectations of all pupils
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and commitment to pupil welfare
• Commitment to supporting the Christian ethos of the school
