The Safety Project Leader is the project manager of the PV & Safety team, responsible for the implementation/provision of the activities/services described within a project/service agreement.
Safety Project Leaders are assuming full ownership of their assigned projects, which means they are fully responsible of regular contact with client and where applicable of budget (including budget forecast), invoicing, all legal issues (renewals, closures, extensions, scope etc.), quality and efficiency as well as audit readiness.
In this capacity, they maintain a thorough understanding of regional, national, and international pharmacovigilance regulations, identify and escalate deviations, non-compliances, and issues, and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented. They provide project-specific support and training, develop team tools and materials, and serve, if needed, as Line Manager to Local Specialist Safety Officers or Mission Safety Members.
Additionally, they independently set and monitor processes and workflows for client-oriented projects, update and review quality management system documents, track compliance and KPIs, contribute to PV and Safety promotional activities (including conferences, LinkedIn content, and meetings), and assist in responding to RFIs and RFPs to support the broader objectives of the PV team and the organization.
The Safety Project Leader assists/participates also to operational processes and other projects of PV & Safety, providing support/expertise to handling of product safety (e.g. pharmacovigilance, device or cosmeto- vigilance) issues.
Requirements
Education: Health or Life Science Graduate.
Languages: Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken, is required.
Work Experience: At least 3 years in Safety (Pharmacovigilance) Officer role or with equivalent 3 years’ experience to Safety (Pharmacovigilance) Officer’s tasks and responsibilities. Having performed as Project Manager.
