Title And Summary

Vice President, People Business Partner, EEMEATo drive the strategic and operational management of all HR activities within the Division / BUs with the aim to attract, motivate and retain high calibre talent for the short and longer term in line with the MasterCard Talent Strategy.
Role and responsibilities
To support business management teams to achieve their business goals, through the implementation and adjustment of corporate/regional HR strategies, initiatives, guidelines, processes and systems. Act as strategic partner, change agent and partner with senior management teams to assess the HR impacts and implications based on markets business plans on a short and long term basis in order to transform the organization into a high performing company.
Translate the organization strategy to determine the priorities, initiatives, projects and resources required to deliver against the business goals across all HR areas including: organization design and development, resourcing, talent acquisition, cultural change, talent management development and succession planning, compensation and employee relations.

The VP People Business Partner will manage West Arabia, Market Development and Business Excellence and will be part of the Regional PCLT.

Key accountabilities :

• Partner with the Executives in the Division / BUs to ensure alignment and implementation of EEMEA business and HR strategies, policies and programmes, and create and deliver cost effective HR solutions for complex strategic business issues.
• Provide strategic direction and delivery related to organisational design, talent acquisition, succession management, talent management and development, employee relations matters, resource planning, compensation and benefits, and performance management.
• Build and develop leadership capabilities in the Division / BUs to improve people leadership effectiveness through coaching, identifying talent initiatives and facilitating team sessions to raise the bar on performance.
• Act as an Agent of Change and drive culture change through the Division / BUs in order to meet longer business goals, strategies and revenue targets. Drive transformational change programmes, including Alternative Work Solutions, Leadership development, behavioural change and process change.
• Support the Divisional President / BU Leads in strategic initiatives, cultural change, communications strategies and, management of the matrix structure.
• Manage Employee relationships on a proactive basis, with a business oriented approach, and employee relations matters across the markets, consistent with local market practices and legislation
• Developing and managing effective staffing, development and motivation strategies.
• Manage and monitor the personnel budgets for the Division / BUs. Make cost effective business/personnel related decisions including compensation, benefits and hiring decisions in line with the personnel budget and practice in the market.
• Implementing and monitoring MasterCard Performance Management processes to develop a performance driven culture. Facilitating the identification and management of High Potential individuals and identifying training, education and development needs and providing appropriate solutions, tailored to meet the needs of individual businesses
• Manage a small team of HR professionals location PBP / People Specialist both on a solid and matrix reporting structure for the Markets/Functions being able to deliver effective solutions to clients needs and to contribute to the achievement of the EEMEA Business, Functional and HR objectives. Overall responsibility for managing and execution of the HR strategy and plans in support of the business goals to deliver maximum value on a cost effective basis to the business.
• Represent the company in external employee related relationships

Qualifications and Competencies

The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge or the equivalent.

Requirements

• Strong experience in an international commercial environment, covering a variety of functions such as staffing, talent development and management, employee relations, organizational development and change management, and compensation.
• By preference a Business Education to degree level in Psychology, Sociology, HR, Business Administration, or Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development qualified

• Manage the personnel budgets for the market

• Coach management in taking disciplinary actions up to the level of termination
• Facilitator in people management issues
• Develop and implement HR related processes / procedures in different HR functional areas
• Understand the evaluation of rewarding positioning of all levels in the organization
