Oversee the end-to-end payroll lifecycle, including salary computation, validation, disbursement, and reconciliation.
Responsibilities
Payroll Processing And Administration:
Taxation And Compliance :
- Manage the payroll vendor
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll lifecycle, including salary computation, validation, disbursement, and reconciliation.
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, and other earnings in accordance with company policies.
- Coordinate with HR for employee lifecycle updates (e.g., new hires, exits, leaves, promotions) and incorporate relevant changes into payroll.
- Administer payroll for different categories of employees (full-time, part-time, contractors,).
- Ensure that outsourced vendor Manages direct and indirect tax compliance, including GST, TDS, and income tax filings
- Ensure that outsourced vendor Maintains strict adherence to Indian labor laws and statutory requirements, including:
- Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS),Gratuity Act, Professional Tax
- Ensure that outsourced vendor files statutory returns (e.g., TDS, PF, ESI) accurately and within prescribed timelines.
- Regularly ensure that payroll practices are updated in line with changes in legislation and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Education & Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting,Chartered Accountant (CA) (Good to have)Experience
At least 10- 13 years of experience with hands on India payroll experienceDemonstrated experience in managing financial operations in small to mid size organizations or multinational corporations.Experience with overseeing/managing India payroll operations
