What You'Ll Do:

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be at the intersection of technology and sales. Your role will involve:

1. Sales Engineering & Customer Engagement

  • Act as the technical expert in pre-sales conversations, demonstrating how our solutions address client challenges.
  • Identify customer pain points and provide tailored technical solutions to meet their needs.
  • Partner with account executives to develop and close sales opportunities.

2. Solution Design & Proposal Development

  • Conduct detailed needs analysis and propose relevant IT solutions, software, or cloud-based services.
  • Create compelling sales presentations and technical proposals that resonate with stakeholders.
  • Develop proof-of-concept (POC) demonstrations to showcase the effectiveness of our solutions.

3. Relationship Building & Customer Success

  • Build long-term relationships with clients by providing expert guidance and post-sales support.
  • Conduct training sessions or workshops to ensure clients fully utilize our solutions.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and uncover new opportunities.

4. Collaboration & Market Insights

  • Work closely with the product and engineering teams to refine solutions based on customer feedback.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Support marketing efforts by contributing technical insights to content, webinars, and whitepapers.
  • Residency: Must be based in the USA.

What We Are Looking For:

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years in a Technical Sales Engineer or Pre-Sales Engineer role within the IT or software industry.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, SaaS, networking, or cybersecurity.
  • Sales Acumen: Ability to translate technical features into real-world business benefits.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to assess complex technical challenges and provide effective solutions.
  • Self-Motivated: Comfortable working independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a distributed team.
  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, Cisco, or related IT fields.
  • Experience with CRM software like HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Background in B2B sales or enterprise-level IT solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, SaaS, networking, or cybersecurity.
