Position Summary
Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Executive Administrative Assistant supporting the Space Systems Command (SSC) Military Communication and Positioning, Navigation and Timing Directorate (CG) in the United States Space Force. This position will support the SSC/CG program office as it rapidly premier capabilities resilient to the threat by the relentless pursuit of warfighter needs and acquisition excellence.
In this role you will work alongside a Team of Administrative Assistant supporting the Delta/Division Action Group (DAG).
This is a full-time opportunity located in LA, CA.

Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Provide guidance and recommendations on completing manpower and personnel documentation; and maintain the unit personnel management roster, organizational charts, unit manning document, and related organizational rosters related to personnel management activities
- Ensure Individual Mobilization Augmentees (IMA) are in compliance with Air Force and Space Force Instructions; track all IMA assigned to MilComm & PNT Directorate and work with the Base IMA Administrator to ensure IMA are assigned correct position numbers and correct duty titles.
- Monitor the SSC’s military assignment cycle boards to include, but not limited to, Permanent Change of Assignment, Permanent Change of Station, Entitlements Integrated Process Team, and Vulnerable to Move Lists and notify leadership of timelines to submit requisitions, reclamas, and byname-requests; provide recommendations on prioritization of positions, compiling requisition forms for job vacancies and submitting requisitions to base.
- Provide expertise and guidance on civilian matters related to procedures, rules, and regulations
- Document, prepare, and coordinate special civilian manpower requests to include, but not limited to,Reimbursable, Superior Qualification Packages, By-Name-Requests, and Position Designations
- Write and maintain office plans and procedures such as organizational charts, mission descriptions, recall rosters, and telephone directories
- Perform the duties of Functional Area Records Manager and Records Custodian
- Ensure the organization remains in compliance with Air Force and Space Force Instructions and working with the base Publications and Forms Manager to track, delete, modify, and create new SSC Instructions and Operating Instructions for the Publications and Forms program
- Daily distribution/Mail Run to drop off, sign for, and pick up accountable mail, parcels and distribution from the base commander’s staff, force support squadron, 61 CELS and other locations on Los Angeles Air Force Base, CA

Qualifications
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance: Secret
- Education: High School Diploma
- Years of Experience: At least 6 years of experience in related field
Preferred Qualifications
Education & Years of Experience: Associates degree or higher and at least 4 years of experience in related field OR Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least 3 years of demonstrated experience in a related field.
Additional Information
Location: On-site at LA AFB, with telework capabilities for local candidates
Hybrid: Percentage of telework/remote allowed will vary based on the customer's discretion.
