Job Description:
Kenvue is recruiting for a Senior Team Lead for its Finance Operations team. This role is part of Finance Operations with the successful candidate being a valuable contributor to the team. The Senior Team Lead is responsible for supporting Kenvue’s Finance Operations processes in compliance with company policy and applicable regulatory requirements.

What You Will Do
Key Responsibilities
Process Responsibilities:
- Lead one or more finance and accounting professionals
- Support the timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements
o Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of actuals, including Fixed Assets transactions like capitalization, depreciation, impairment, and transfers.
o Deep expertise, fully knowledgeable of the worldwide procedures and compliance requirements for Fixed Assets Accounting and internal controls related to asset tracking.
o Monitor construction-in-progress (CIP) accounts and ensure timely capitalization upon project completion.
o Collaborate with project teams, procurement, and operations to ensure proper asset classification and accounting treatment.
o Regular focus on Balance Sheet reconciliations to minimize open items
- Understand, adhere, and execute per worldwide policies and procedures. Identify compliance risks and recommend solutions
- Recruit, onboard and training of new joiners
- Liase with senior finance leadership across Tax, Treasury, Business Unit Finance, Internal Audit and other Kenvue finance teams
- Champion & influence strategy & solutions demonstrating strong business acumen
- Generate ideas, fosters, and implements continuous improvement mindset, identifying and pursuing process efficiency opportunities
- Influence and execute process improvements, generating ideas and implementing in line with global standards
- Remain updated with industry trends, changes in accounting rules, and latest technologies
Compliance:
- Adhere to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations
- Assist the team with any audit requests raised from the Legal Entity Controllership team
- Ensure strong internal controls are in place, in order to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings
Travel:
· Up to 5% international travel
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s level degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- At least 6-8 years of professional experience is required
- Learning agility and adaptability to different business requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels
- Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies
- Strong analytical skills
- Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, other language skills desirable
Desired Qualifications
- CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications is preferred
- Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or BPO
- Experience in a Global Accounting for a large multi-state company
- Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach
- Successfully manage multiple priorities, be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines
- Digital/ intelligent automation capabilities
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP and Blackline preferred) and MS Office in particular Excel
- Candidates may be asked to work shifts to align with global assignments in Americas / EMEA / Asia
- Lead/Participate in other Regional/Global/Cross functional duties as assigned

- Candidate should have good knowledge of accounting concepts.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience with automated accounting systems (i.e. Intacct, NetSuite, Blackline, Bill.com, Tally)
- Blackline experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge and experience in transitioning the process.
- Understand our technology stack and identify additional add-on processes, systems, modules, and integrations that can drive month end close efficiencies.
- Define and document repeatable methodologies with appropriate tools and templates that can be leveraged for future projects.
- Robotics process automation - Identification of opportunities to simplify operational process and automate them with help of bot solutions to create more efficiencies. Knowledge of BOT solutions/ platform (preferable)
- Define and update Risk and Control matrix (RACM), review and resolve RACM audit findings
- Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives and provide financial insights.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Liaise with external auditors during audits and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared.
- Build and maintain dashboards for Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting process.
- Intoduce and maintain finance automation tools to reduce manual work
- Continuosly improve workflows to increase accuracy and scalability.
