As Full time Area Visual Merchandiser - West Coast, Los Angeles

This role involves regular field work and travel to support multiple store teams in maintaining visual merchandising standards, ensuring team literacy, and executing VM guidelines, with ongoing reporting to the Head of Visual. It requires close collaboration with store teams to effectively roll out all visual communications and directives. Additionally, the role supports the coordination of Brand Experience projects—including window displays, in-store installations, and seasonal launches—in partnership with the Head of Visual. A consistent monthly store visit schedule is maintained to prioritize VM rotations, as approved by leadership.

What You Will Do

As Full time Area Visual Merchandiser:

  • Directly partner with Store Managers to review store presentation correlation with local market trends and store specific sale trends, providing professional VM actions and feedback to improve store performance
  • Responsible for creating VM planning for their stores to present to Head of Visual
  • Support Events + PR team for VIC show events, private client events
  • Assistance in preparation of local market VM recap reports as well as PDFs of store pictures after Monthly Guideline store update/rotation
  • Travel as needed to support stores, closely working with Retail + CS Retail + Retail Development teams to prepare VM plan, capacity files, initial merchandising proposals, order props, store staff VM training, all to ensure a high quality store opening

  • Strong Visual & Aesthetic SensibilityA refined eye for visual merchandising, store layout planning, and brand story-telling, with the ability to translate global guidelines into locally relevant, commercially impactful displays.
  • Commercial AwarenessUnderstanding the key role visual merchandising plays in your market's business; able to analyze sales data and local market trends to inform VM decisions that support business goals.
  • Leadership & Team DevelopmentProven ability to lead, mentor, and elevate store teams’ VM capabilities, fostering a culture of excellence and ownership at store level.

  • Digital Fluency Proficient in using digital tools to document, report, and present VM updates (e.g., creating PDF recaps, capacity files, and visual planning documents).
