Position Overview:


The K–12 Strategic Services, PMO and Inside Sales is a hybrid role that combines client relationship development, inside sales, strategic initiative execution, and PMO-aligned project governance. Person will work with the Advocacy Prometric team to identify target accounts in order to target for inside sales as well as grow current accounts to increase revenue. The person will also work closely with K–12 clients to ensure satisfaction and success while also supporting executive leadership through structured project delivery, system coordination, and strategic planning execution to include reporting and monitoring.

Acting as both a client partner in inside sales as well as an internal project leader, you will support the execution of key programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets in accordance with PMO best practices.


Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement, inside sales & Success

• Act as the primary relationship manager for assigned K–12 clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and growth.
• Coordinate with Global Advocacy to align systems.
• Develop a deep understanding of client needs and strategic priorities; align Prometric solutions to support long-term success and increase revenue.
• Coordinate implementation, engagement, ongoing support, and monitoring activities across internal departments.
• Identify and drive upsell and renewal opportunities through trusted advisor relationships.
Strategic Projects & PMO Alignment
• Lead and manage strategic projects in the K–12 space, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and quality standards.


• Apply PMO methodologies to structure, document, and track project progress (e.g., initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure).

• Maintain project artifacts including charters, work plans, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and stakeholder communications.

• Facilitate cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration between client success, sales, product, operations, implementation, and technology teams.
• Provide regular project reporting, status updates, and escalation of risks to executive leadership and stakeholders.


Executive & Operational Support

• Assist K–12 executive leadership with inside sales, strategic services, operational tracking and monitoring, and initiative execution.
• Build and maintain dashboards, performance reports, and strategic documentation to support data-driven decision-making as we expand business.
• Support change management, process improvement, and system optimization aligned with business goals.
• Maintain alignment with enterprise PMO governance and reporting standards.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Education, Project Management, or a related field; master’s preferred or equivalent (10+ years in executive role in large k-12 school system)
• 5+ years of experience in client success, project/program management, or education partnerships, ideally in a PMO-driven environment.
• Experience in project management, including large initiatives within large-scale organizations with substantial budgets.
• Experience with strategic planning with demonstrated results, preferably in large-scale educational systems.
• Deep understanding of K–12 education systems, assessment models, and school district dynamics.
• Strong familiarity with PMO frameworks (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2), including project lifecycle, governance, and documentation standards.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Excellent communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.


Preferred Skills:

• PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
• Experience working in or with a formal Project Management Office (PMO).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends for decision-making.
• Background in K–12 education technology, strategic initiatives and planning, testing/assessment services, or SaaS preferred.
