Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Hardware Asset Analyst to lead and support the lifecycle management of hardware assets across the enterprise. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate tracking, governance, and optimization of IT hardware assets using ServiceNow and related platforms. The Senior Analyst will play a critical role in improving asset visibility, compliance, and cost efficiency by working across IT, procurement, finance, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end hardware asset lifecycle management (from procurement through disposal) for enterprise IT assets
  • Maintain and validate asset records in the ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) module
  • Develop and enforce policies and standards for asset tracking, inventory reconciliation, and data quality
  • Coordinate physical and automated inventory processes and audits across locations
  • Monitor asset compliance, contract expiration, and warranty status; identify discrepancies and remediation steps
  • Analyze asset data to identify cost savings opportunities, underutilization, or surplus
  • Collaborate with procurement and finance to support budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management
  • Ensure accurate linkage between asset records and CMDB configuration items
  • Support governance, reporting, and metrics related to asset management KPIs and SLAs
  • Assist with platform upgrades, enhancements, and the implementation of new features or integrations
  • Mentor junior analysts and support training for asset custodians and stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM), specifically hardware asset lifecycle management
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of asset tagging, inventory management tools, and reconciliation processes
  • Familiarity with IT hardware categories including laptops, desktops, servers, peripherals, and mobile devices
  • Experience with data analysis, Excel reporting, and ServiceNow dashboards
  • Understanding of ITIL, asset lifecycle best practices, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or HAM Specialist certification
  • Experience integrating asset management with procurement, finance, or CMDB systems
  • Familiarity with software asset management (SAM) is a plus
  • Experience supporting audits, internal controls, or regulatory compliance initiatives

Exposure to enterprise vendor management and contract/license lifecycle support
