Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Works in a normal office environment requiring light physical effort by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently. Works with standard office equipment (such as phone, fax, and personal computer). Ability to navigate stairs frequently during the course of a business day in various work locations. Sitting at desk for most of day, and working with computer.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements in the P&C insurance domain (claims, underwriting, policy, actuarial reporting).
- Perform data analysis, data profiling, and data cleaning to ensure high-quality insights.
- Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRD).
- Leverage Business Intelligence tools to develop and interpret reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Drive process improvements and deliver actionable insights within the P&C insurance framework.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 8+ years of total experience, with 4–5+ years specifically in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain, including expertise in claims, underwriting, policy, and actuarial reporting.
- Strong Business Analyst background with proven skills in data analysis and report interpretation.
- Extensive experience in data profiling and data cleaning.
- Proficiency in creating BRD and FRD documentation.
- Excellent communication skills with a track record of effective stakeholder management.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Business Intelligence skills (e.g., experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik)
- The client is looking for someone with strong P&C background, should know report rationalization , requirement gathering from business, documentation, data cleaning and analysis , cross team collaboration and experience with cataloging.
- They are moving from Cognos, Tableau and SPSS to Power BI and need help of a BA to help with migration(not looking for BI developer but some background with BI tools should be there)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with insurance-specific data tools or platforms (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.
