Responsibilities & authorities:
• Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies that align with organizational goals and objectives, driving sustainable growth, profitability, and value creation.
• Provide strategic financial analysis, forecasting, and planning to support decision-making and resource allocation across the organization, optimizing capital investments, and mitigating financial risks.
• Oversee the financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, accounting, revenue cycle management, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Lead the development and monitoring of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and performance metrics, tracking financial performance against targets and implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve financial objectives.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and transparency of financial reporting and accounting practices, maintaining compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management, optimizing cash resources and investments to support ongoing operations, capital projects, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead financial planning and analysis efforts, conducting variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario planning to assess business performance, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, department heads, and externalstakeholdersto develop and negotiate contracts, agreements, and partnerships that support financial goals and organizational objectives.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous learning, and supporting career development and growth

Specific responsibilities:
• Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and proceduresto safeguard assets, minimize financial risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
• Lead financial due diligence efforts for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, assessing financial risks, opportunities, and synergies to inform decision-making and drive successful transactions.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including lenders, investors, auditors, and regulatory agencies, ensuring timely reporting, compliance, and transparency in financial matters.
• Lead financial modelling and scenario analysis to evaluate strategic initiatives, investment opportunities, and capital projects, assessing their financial viability, return on investment, and impact on organizational performance.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to optimize revenue cycle management processes, identify opportunities for revenue enhancement, and improve billing, coding, and reimbursement practices.
• Drive cost containment initiatives, process improvements, and efficiency measures to reduce operating expenses, improve productivity, and maximize financial performance while maintaining high-quality patient care.



Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred. CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience in healthcare finance, with a proven track record of driving financial performance, strategic planning, and organizational success.
• Strong understanding of healthcare finance principles, including revenue cycle management, reimbursement models, healthcare regulations, and accounting standards.
• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling, with proficiency in financial planning and analysis tools and software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, fostering collaboration and alignment in pursuit of common goals.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data, assess business opportunities and risks, and develop actionable recommendations and strategies.
• Experience managing financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, and compliance, with a focus on driving operational efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements, with the ability to anticipate and respond to changes in the healthcare landscape and their impact on organizational finances.
