WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR LAYTON DISTRIBUTION 3rd Shift

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of receiving, selection and loading of product and maintaining productivity level. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. - Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
- Monitor and control expense
- Organize, plan and supervise the shift work for the selection of orders, receiving and shipping
- Adhere to company guidelines for safety and sanitation
- Monitor production rates and take corrective action as necessary
- Manage the proper use of equipment on the various shifts
- Assist in training of new employees, both in production and safety
- Control quality of product selection and loading of freight so that all customer orders are selected accurately in a timely manner.
- Monitor adherence of all assigned personnel to procedures, rules, and policies outlined by management and union contract
- Monitor and meet all order accuracy requirements and expectations
- Perform other duties as required
- Maintain flexibility to work any shift to meet the needs of the department
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Minimum
- 2+ years of experience managing and supervising large teams in a warehouse environment
- Knowledge of maintenance, safety, sanitation, and transportation practices
- Knowledge of dry and perishable grocery warehousing
