We are searching for a Clinical Dietitian II for our outpatient GI clinic– someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide nutritional assessment of pediatric patients, care plan development, and management of needs across the patient care continuum as well as provide education and special project support to the clinical nutrition staff and department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • LD, RD, and RD-AP, RDN-AP or CDCES, CCTD, CEDRD, CHES, CNSC, CSO, CSOWM BC, CSPCC, CSR, CSSD, or IBCLC
  • 4 Years Experience in the nutrition field
  • Preferred former pediatric and/or GI experience
  • 2 years pediatric nutrition experience preferred
  •  Team player, takes initiative
  • Preferred former pediatric and/or GI experience

Responsibilities:

  • Provides nutritional assessment and ongoing development of appropriate plan of careProvides staff, patient, and community educationCommunicates with other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition principles that enhance patient outcomesParticipates in, interprets, and uses research to enhance clinical practiceDocuments nutrition care effectively within the medical recordAssumes additional responsibilities for clinical program oversight that promote departmental initiatives
