Temporary Substitute Teacher – FOP / Psychology & DPO Support

SEK International School Ciudalcampo is seeking a dedicated and qualified professional to join our Guidance Department as a FOP (Professional Training and Guidance) and Psychology Teacher with support to the DPO. This temporary position (medical leave replacement) involves teaching both FOP and Psychology to secondary and baccalaureate students, while also supporting the school’s guidance services and wider community projects. The successful candidate will contribute to students’ academic, social, and emotional development, while collaborating with teachers and families to strengthen a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Mission:

The role aims to provide high-quality teaching and personalized support to students, as well as to contribute to the school’s orientation, guidance, and advisory functions.

Functions:

- TeachFormación y Orientación Profesional (Professional Training and Guidance): 4 hours per week (2 groups, 2 hours each).

• Teach Psychology in 2nd year of Spanish Baccalaureate (LOMLOE): 4 hours per week.
• Support the Guidance Department with projects such as:

  *IB homologation process (UNED Assis).

• Individual and group support for students with special educational needs.
• Needs assessment and prevention programs.
• Records, exam correction, and academic follow-up.

  *Teacher support through training, counseling, and tutorials.

• Tutorial Action Plan implementation.
• Student admissions: interviews, entrance exams, psychometric reports.
• School context and performance indicator analysis.
• Monitoring services and values program support.

Requirements

Academic Background:

• Degree in Psychology.
• Official teaching qualification for secondary education.

Professional Experience:

-Previous school counseling experience is an advantage.

Languages:

- Spanish required (teaching language).

- English proficiency valued.
