Technical Buyer
- Using an Excel Equipment BOM, procure, track, and organize equipment needed to build manufacturing test sets
- Consult with Test Engineers to obtain clarity on bill of materials
- Where possible, reduce costs by exploring the used equipment market
Test Set Construction Planner
- Understand customer delivery requirements
- Schedule test set construction for multiple internal customers
- Coordinate with technicians building the equipment to keep projects on track
- Solve critical build issues as they occur
- Lead interactions with suppliers and negotiate best pricing
Education
· 2 year technical, supply chain or business degree preferred
Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Lab or Manufacturing environment
- Prefer some experience with electronics and/or optics
Skills
- Excel (basic formulas, conditional formatting)
- Power Point (basic slides to convey status)
- MS Project (basic project tracking)
- Excellent Verbal skills
- Excellent Organization skills
- Strong attention to details
