The MarComm Specialist 2 will provide essential support to the Strategic Partnerships team at FMOL Health, helping execute a wide range of partnership-focused initiatives and events. This position is hands-on, dynamic, and highly collaborative, playing a vital role in promoting FMOL Health’s relationship with key organizational partners — most notably our Championship Health Partnership with Louisiana State University (LSU) spanning athletics & sports medicine, research & education, and student health. Additional partnerships supported by this role include Southern University, BRCC, Traction Sports Performance and the Sports Medicine service line, as well as local high schools and other athletics-based organizations.

This individual will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic partnership campaigns and events, ensuring high-quality, on-brand representation of FMOL Health. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and energized by meaningful work that connects FMOL Health with LSU and the broader community. 

  • Event Support & Execution: Support planning, setup, coordination, and breakdown of events across FMOL Health campuses and partner locations, while also assisting with photo, video, and social coverage as needed. Coordinate event logistics including materials preparation, signage, staffing needs, vendor communication, and on-site troubleshooting.
  • Team & Campaign Support: Assist the Strategic Partnerships team with campaign tasks, content creation, project tracking, and administrative support. Help ensure tasks and deadlines are met through proactive follow-up and coordination.
  • Marketing & Communications: Assist with the creation and distribution of communications materials such as social media content, presentations, internal communications, and event materials. Coordinate with the larger system Brand Team to ensure consistency in brand messaging across all materials and platforms.
  • Administrative & Logistical Support: Manage inventory of branded items for internal and external use, ensuring items maintain brand standards and are adequately stocked for known upcoming events and impromptu needs. 
  • Team Collaboration: Support a high-performing team culture centered around collaboration, accountability, and mission-driven work.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, communications, or administrative support—preferably in healthcare, athletics, or higher education environments.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working on-site at events, sometimes outside of standard business hours.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, basic design tools (Canva, Adobe Spark, etc.), and collaboration platforms (Teams, SharePoint).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines a plus.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
  • Experience in strategic marketing, communications, and athletics preferred.
  • Passion for FMOL Health’s mission and a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
