Job Summary
Responsible for leading and executing communication strategies across specific global functions, either Human Resources or IT-Finance-Production-Philanthropy by ensuring alignment, consistency, and effectiveness of messaging across all regions. Oversees the development of communication materials, campaigns, and digital content, managing a direct report and ensuring timely project execution from concept to delivery. Works closely with senior leadership to craft and support high-impact communications for executive-level forums, including CEO updates, Board meetings, and company-wide events.
Job Contributions and Key Responsibilities
Communications Strategy
• Partner with the function(s) leadership to design and execute global communication strategies that support their objectives.
• Lead the development and rollout of communication plans and campaigns that effectively promote the function(s) priorities across all regions, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging, addressing key areas of focus for each department.
• Oversee the development of collateral materials and digital content for each supported function, ensuring message consistency and brand alignment across all regions reflecting the company’s values and objectives.
• Lead communication projects end-to-end from concept through execution, maintaining high quality standards and ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and in scope.
Internal Communications
- Develop and manage internal communication campaigns that address the strategic and operational needs of each supported function.• Collaborate closely with functional teams and production areas to ensure clear, effective delivery of messages to employees across all global regions.• Support the creation of internal communication assets, including emails, intranet content, presentations, and other supporting materials, ensuring clarity, alignment, and consistency
- Lead the strategy, design, and execution of digital and social media campaigns that promote key functions of each supported function with their own particular focus.• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop targeted and engaging content that effectively communicates departmental initiatives, achievements, and organizational values across multiple platforms.• Oversee the creation of multimedia assets such as videos, infographics, and digital flyers to support social media and web presence, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across all functions and regions.
Collateral Materials & Creative Direction
- • Oversee the design and production of collateral materials of each supported function campaigns, including brochures, posters, and videos.
- • Direct the creative development of campaign assets to ensure alignment with corporate branding, voice, and strategic messaging.
- • Supervise the direct report, providing guidance to ensure high-quality content development, on-time delivery, and overall execution excellence
Executive Communication Support
• Provide support to the Director of Communications in managing the logistics of executive-level communications, including coordination of audio-visual elements, vendor management, event logistics, printed collateral, streaming services, and translation needs for high-profile events such as State of the Company meetings, Board meetings, and other CEO-level communications.
• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure seamless planning, production, and execution of all communication materials and services related to executive events and engagements.
Crisis Communications Support
• Support crisis communication efforts for the supported Business Unit by collaborating closely with the Communications team to coordinate timely and effective responses during urgent or critical situations.
• Assist in developing and distributing crisis-related messaging, ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment across all internal and external communication channels
Cross-Functional Coordination
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments to ensure the effective execution of communication strategies and campaigns.
- • Coordinate with regional teams to maintain consistency in messaging and content delivery across all geographic locations
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Global Communication Strategies - Advanced: Expertise in developing and executing cross-regional communication strategies, especially within HR or business units, ensuring alignment and consistency.• Planning & Project Management - Advanced: Skilled in managing communication projects, strategic planning, deadlines, regional coordination, and budgets; familiar with project management tools.• Social Media & Digital Communications - Advanced• Employer Branding - Intermediate• Internal Communications - Intermediate: Proficient in creating engaging internal content focused on employee and corporate communications.• Crisis Communications - Intermediate: Experienced in supporting or leading crisis messaging and strategy during urgent situations affecting global operations.• Ag Industry Knowledge - Beginner: Basic familiarity with the agricultural sector, its terminology, and culture is advantageous.
