We are looking for a Production associate to complete our team in Edmonton, AB.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures and regulations.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble product in order to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations.
- Demonstrate a high level of competency in core work skills.
- Achieve production goals.
- Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
- Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
- Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet production goals.
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Heavy duty mechanic apprenticeship is considered an asset for this position.
Experience:
- Previous mechanical experience considered an asset
- Previous shop experience considered an asset
About The Role:
- Working hours are Monday-Friday 7h00am to 3h30pm.
- Unionized environment.
- Salary starts at 28.99$ hourly as per current CBA
- Following all Cummins safety policies.
In this role you would be responsible for:
- Cleaning engine parts to be used in remanufacturing.
- Disassemble engines and haul truck modules with technician guidance.
- Perform regular shop maintenance.
- Support rebuild center in various other tasks such as painting, welding, etc.
