Job Summary:

As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in crafting an enjoyable atmosphere for all guests by delivering courteous, friendly & timely beverage service in the restaurant.

Job Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

Ø Provide fast, friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests

Ø Prepare beverages as ordered

Ø Build relationships with guests

Ø Keep bar area clean and stocked workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines

Ø Operate a cash register/POS system, ring the proper amount into the register, and give the guest or Server the correct change; account for all cash, charge, and complimentary sales according to established procedure; maintain the integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities

Ø Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines

Ø Follow guidelines of the EBCI liquor laws as defined by the Tribal ABC Commission and NC ABC Commission

Ø Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner

Ø Endorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision, and Values

Minimum Qualifications:

Ø A high school diploma or GED is required

Ø Six months of prior customer service experience is preferred

Ø Four months experience as a bartender at a full-service bar is preferred

Ø RASP certification is required*

Ø ServSafe certification is required**

• Can be completed within 30 days of the hire date
• *Can be completed within 90 days of the hire date
• Ø Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:

• Ø Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene

Physical, Mental, And Environmental Demands:

Ø Must be able to be on feet for an 8-hour shift

Ø Must be able to attend to multiple priorities simultaneously

Ø Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Ø Must be able to maneuver and tap a keg weighing 165 pounds

Ø Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grasp

Ø Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues

Ø Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

Ø Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality, including secondhand smoke

Ø Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
