Christmas Festival 2 Hour Student Usher

Job Title: 2-HOUR Usher

• Hours/week: 1 Hour Training + 2-HOUR Shift per performance

MANDATORY IN-PERSON TRAINING IN SKOGLUND (one-time training)

• Thu, 12/4 6:00-7:00p.m. - 1 HOUR

Shifts

You may sign up for as few as one shift or as many as three shifts.

• Fri, 12/5 5:30-7:50 p.m. - 2 HOURS
• Sat, 12/6 1:00-3:20  p.m. - 2 HOURS
• Sun, 12/7 1:00-3:20 p.m. - 2 HOURS

PAY: $12.25 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION: Christmas Festival 2-hour ushers scan guests’ tickets or help guests in the auditorium find their seats.

SKILLS NEEDED: Friendly, welcoming and helpful attitude working with the general public. 

Sign-Up

• Check the Christmas Fest 2-Hour Usher Sign Up to be sure a space is available on the day(s) you’d like to work. Please don’t add additional lines to the sheet. 
• Enter your name on the sign-up
• Fill out the necessary paperwork with Student Employment. 
• For a given performance, you may sign up for a 2-hour Usher shift OR a 4-hour Usher shift. You can’t sign up on multiple lists for a given performance. 
• You may sign up for as few as one shift or as many as all three shifts,
• You will be contacted with your assigned shift(s). We cannot guarantee you will receive a shift.

DRESS CODE: The dress code is black on the bottom and a black or white top, or a black dress.

• Pants: black dress pants
• Skirts: nice black skirt
• Tops: solid white or solid black shirt 
• Shoes: Black dress shoes
• No jeans, leggings, or exercise pants 
• Hemline no higher than an inch above the knee
• Must wear black hose or tights
• Long-sleeved
• Collared shirt or nice blouse 
• No t-shirts or athletic wear
• No tennis shoes
