The company has a FAA Part 135 charter certificate and a FAA Part 145 maintenance repair station, focusing on high quality service to customers in the areas of aircraft sales, management, charter, maintenance, parts, and consulting.

Role Objective:

The A&P Maintenance Technician – Level III is a highly skilled and experienced aviation professional, responsible for performing, inspecting, and troubleshooting complex maintenance tasks on aircraft. This senior-level position requires extensive knowledge of aircraft systems, FAA regulations, and advanced troubleshooting techniques. The Level III technician serves as a mentor to junior mechanics, leads maintenance projects, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory.

Essential Job Tasks:

  • Perform and oversee advanced troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, and modifications on various aircraft types.
  • Diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system issues and implement corrective actions efficiently.
  • Lead aircraft maintenance tasks, ensuring work is completed accurately, safely, and in compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on specific aircraft systems, mentoring and training Level I and II technicians.
  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of completed work to verify compliance and quality standards before aircraft return to service.
  • Perform structural repairs and composite work, as needed.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools, test equipment, and software systems to analyze aircraft performance and maintenance needs.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all maintenance actions in accordance with FAA and company policies (logbooks, work orders, and maintenance tracking systems).
  • Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to resolve maintenance-related concerns.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a culture of compliance and accountability.

Competencies:

  • Experience with Gulfstream G-IV, Bombardier Global, Hawker 800/900XP, Cessna 560XL, Latitude and Longitude maintenance preferred.
  • Knowledge of aviation procedures/servicing/maintenance
  • Adept in workplace safety best practices
  • Understanding of applicable FARs
  • Knowledge of computers and electronic software applications
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to read, write and speak English. (Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus)
  • Ability to work well as part of a team

Work Authorization:

Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • FAR Part 145 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs., stand, and work in various weather conditions
  • Good vision and depth perception
  • Availability during nights, weekends, & holidays as needed

Travel:

Minimal travel is required

Required Education/Experience:

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification (required)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years proven experience in a similar position
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex maintenance issues.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor junior technicians.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proficient in using electronic maintenance tracking systems (e.g., CAMP, TRAX, Corridor, ext.)
  • Strong understanding of FAA regulations (FARs), AD’s, ad SBs
  • Experience working in a Part 145 Repair Station or Part 135 operations 
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations.
