Responsibilities
• Coordinate all aspects of the Citizenship education program --a program designed to help participants succeed in the US naturalization exam. Duties include but are not limited to recruitment, enrollment, new student placement, teacher assignment, class scheduling, on-line and in-person class logistics, teachers’ meetings, teacher supervision and curriculum implementation
• Monitor class and student progress, enrollment, retention, outcomes and expenditure
• Serve as liaison between education program and citizenship legal team to provide comprehensive services to participants
• Trouble-shoot problems with attendance, remote access/computer issues, teacher absences. Serve as information center for basic program policies and procedures.
• Assist in generating reports for TEF leadership and other stakeholders as needed; ensure adherence to eligibility standards
• Manage data collection, entering and updating student data records and logs into internal systems
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in education, training, or equivalent years of work experience required
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in adult education, healthcare, training or workforce development required
• Spanish bilingual required
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
• Knowledge of healthcare education programs, adult education, and/or labor management operations
• Collaborative problem solver; high level of emotional intelligence
• Strong verbal written communication and analytical skills
• Knowledge of career and educational pathways and degree programs in the health care field
• Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends required
• Oversee advising members seeking occupational certificates on Fund benefits and programs
