About The Role

We're looking for a Product Designer who designs opinionated software fast and knows when to break the rules. This is a role for a designer who is looking to move quickly without sacrificing craft, work across multiple products, and has strong opinions loosely held. We view design as a strategic advantage and maintain a high bar of excellence, but we know that compelling design delivered at speed beats perfect design delivered too late.

What You'Ll Do

• Own design initiatives from ideation to launch with extreme attention to detail, shipping features that customers love, not concepts that collect dust
• Build prototypes – in Figma or by leveraging AI code assistants – that work well enough to demo to customers and prospects
• Partner with Engineers and PMs who will challenge your ideas, and you'll love them for it
• Contribute to and use a product design system that's applied across multiple products while keeping it flexible and fast
• Present your work regularly to internal teams, customers, and prospects to spark genuine excitement and close deals
• Leverage intuition and experimentation when the full design process can't be run

Who You Are

• You've spent 3-5+ years designing digital products that people actually use, with a portfolio that shows real shipped features
• You have infectious levels of enthusiasm for making complex software feel simple (and maybe get a little too excited about perfectly aligned components)
• You own ambiguous problems and figure them out without someone holding your hand through every decision
• You have strong opinions about what makes software great, but you're humble enough to know when you're wrong

Bonus Points:

• You've designed for B2B SaaS and can make enterprise software not feel like it was designed in 2003
• You have a side project that has nothing to do with design but shows you're a real human

Your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base salary for this role is regionally based:

• U.S Candidates: $120,000 CAD - $140,000 CAD per year
• Canadian Candidates: $130,000 CAD - $150,000 CAD per year

We take into account numerous factors in deciding on compensation, such as experience, job-related skills, relevant education or training, and other business and organizational requirements. The salary range provided corresponds to the level at which this position has been defined.
