In this role, you can expect a diverse range of responsibilities related to the creation of an auditable CSRD report, the development of audit-proof structures, and the setup of data collection processes – both at HomeToGo and across our subsidiaries.
Embedded within the Communications team and reporting directly to the Head of ESG & Corporate PR, this role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with HomeToGo’s CSRD Focus Group and external consultants. You’ll play a key part in ensuring the success of our second-year CSRD audit while helping to bring our ESG strategy to life - all with the goal of creating real impact.
- You will actively support the preparation of the sustainability report in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standard (ESRS).
- You will contribute to the calculation of the HomeToGo Group's CO₂ emissions and assist in assessing the company’s Corporate Carbon Footprint across its multiple subsidiaries.
- Act as a key contributor to the conceptualization, drafting, and translation of the FY/25 CSRD report.
- Assist in transparently communicating the progress and results of our sustainability efforts to raise awareness among the company’s leadership and employees.
- Shape internal awareness campaigns around sustainability and develop and launch your own ideas for climate-conscious practices at HomeToGo.
- Are currently enrolled as a student in a degree program such as Sustainability Management, Resource Management, Environmental Sciences, or Business Administration with a relevant focus area.
- Comfortable navigating complex projects and engaging with multiple stakeholders at once.
- Have excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
- Bring a self-driven work ethic, solution-oriented thinking, and a high level of initiative.
- Are passionate about sustainable business models and enjoy actively helping to shape and implement ESG initiatives.
- Possess a basic understanding of the CSRD regulatory requirement for companies and have initial insights into sustainability reporting.
