Internship : R&D Specialty Fat Engineer

Mission and key tasks

• You will conduct a comprehensive literature review to support the research framework
• You will design and implement experimental plans tailored to the objectives of the study.
• You will conduct the validation of the process parameters of the current production line and follow up of process parameters and their impact on packability and finished product.
• You will identify the impact of key raw materia from margarinel in the final good, croissant or puff pastry.
• You will carry out margarine production at pilote scale under controlled conditions.
• You will characterize margarine samples through physicochemical analyses such as solid fat content, baking test and hardness…
• You will participate in sensory evaluation sessions to assess product quality and attributes
• You will perform data processing and statistical analysis using tools such as excel.

Who are we looking for ?

• You are pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in food sciences, food technology, bioengineering, or related studies with a notice or interest in food research.
• You are dynamic, hands-on and proactive
• You have good communication, presentation, planning and organization skills
• You’re sincerely interested in the bakery, pastry or chocolate world
• You are fluent in English
• You are looking for an internship with minimum duration of 5 months, based in Brussels, Belgium.
