What You’Ll Do:
The Senior Sales Manager will oversee a team of sales executives and drive revenue growth by developing effective sales strategies, coaching team members, and ensuring strong execution. This role blends leadership with hands-on involvement in strategic accounts and is critical to scaling MGT’s presence in the technology sector.
In This Role, You Will:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand the client base and maximize revenue.
- Partner with marketing, research, and advisory teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Monitor performance metrics, pipeline activity, and forecasting accuracy across the team.
- Support team members in strategic negotiations and client meetings with senior executives.
- Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales organization.
- Provide insights on market trends, competitive positioning, and client needs to shape go-to-market strategies.
- Lead the full sales cycle, including proposals, presentations, negotiations, and contract execution.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging client needs.
- Represent MGT at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
What You’Ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Eight (8) or more years of B2B sales experience, with at least three (3) to five (5) years of experience in sales management, preferably in professional services, research, advisory of technology solutions.
- Proven ability to lead teams and exceed quotas in complex sales environments.
- Experience selling to state, local government, and education (SLED) organizations is highly desirable.
- Strong business development skills with the ability to influence and engage senior-level stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability for up to 25% travel.
