About Us

STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionizing how autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop, and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost-effective — giving NATO operators a decisive edge in contested environments.

We deliver deployable capability today, not distant promises. In an era of rising threats, STARK is strengthening the technological advantage of NATO Allies and Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe.

Your Mission

As our (Senior) Vice President Counter-UAS, you will lead STARK’s efforts to design and field next-generation counter-drone and counter-missile systems. This is a hands-on executive role: you will set the vision, build and mentor a world-class team, and engage directly with customers to deliver solutions that shift the balance in modern conflicts.

The scope covers both internal development and external integration/acquisition. You will shape the system architecture, guide chief engineers, and ensure execution against aggressive timelines — while representing STARK as the authority on counter-UAS systems in front of customers, partners, and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead STARK’s Counter-UAS division, defining strategy and technical direction.
  • Build and grow a multidisciplinary engineering and program team.
  • Own system architecture spanning radar, EO/IR, RF, EW, and interceptors.
  • Drive integration of sensors and effectors into effective kill-chains.
  • Evaluate and decide on make-or-buy options, including technology acquisitions.
Represent STARK in NATO/Allied military discussions, executive customer meetings, program reviews, and strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in aerospace/defence, with deep expertise in counter-UAS, air defence, or missile defence.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, operational defence systems.
  • Strong systems engineering and program leadership experience.
  • Background in unmanned systems and/or defence sensing (radar, EO/IR, RF, EW).
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing engineering and program teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with both military decision-makers and technical stakeholders.
  • Eligible for NATO/EU security clearance.
