Job Summary/Description:
We are seeking a Manager of Paid Media to lead and develop our growing paid media team within a fast-paced, client-focused agency. This role is first and foremost about building, mentoring, and managing a high-performing team—while also ensuring excellence in paid media execution and client satisfaction.
You’ll oversee a group of specialists and analysts, guide their professional growth, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation. At the same time, you’ll serve as a strategic paid media leader, bringing hands-on expertise in Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other paid platforms to shape and scale our capabilities across diverse clients and verticals. This position is fully remote and can be applied for from any state where Gray Media operates.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of paid media specialists
- Provide structured onboarding, continuous training, and regular performance reviews
- Foster a culture of growth, collaboration, and operational excellence
- Act as the team’s primary advocate and resource, ensuring they have the tools and support to succeed
- Campaign Oversight
- Supervise paid search, paid social, and cross-platform campaign execution from strategy and setup through optimization and reporting
- Ensure campaigns are flawlessly delivered across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms, leveraging advanced targeting, audience segmentation, and bidding strategies
- Partner with client teams to align campaign tactics with broader marketing objectives
- Client Collaboration
- Represent the paid media team on client and market calls as the senior expert
- Translate campaign performance into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
- Build trust with clients through transparency, responsiveness, and effective communication
- Process, Strategy & Innovation
- Standardize best practices for campaign setup, pacing, QA, and optimization
- Continuously refine workflows to improve efficiency and scalability
- Stay ahead of paid media trends, platform updates, and evolving best practices
- Champion new tools and capabilities across paid search, social, and emerging platforms to drive client growth
Qualifications/Requirements:
- - 3-5 years of hands-on experience working in both paid social and paid search platforms, including but not limited to Google Ads, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Bing, Snapchat.
- - 1-2 years managing a team of paid media specialists
- - Possesses a strong and proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with flexibility, and communicate priorities clearly and effectively
- - Has a strong attention to detail, is methodical, and is process-oriented.
- - Is passionate about the quality of work the team produces and growing the knowledge of those around you.
