Purpose Of Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Developer Engineer to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and contribute to the development of our innovative products, working across various aspects of our tech stack.

What will you be doing

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of new features using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Express.
  • Writing and maintaining clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Participating in code reviews and contributing to a collaborative development environment.
  • Learning and applying best practices in software development and testing.
  • Supporting the team in debugging and resolving software issues.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Contributing to database interactions using PostgreSQL and BigQuery.
  • Learning and utilizing tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP for deployment and operations.

We'Re Looking For:

  • 1+ year of experience in software development or a relevant internship.
  • Foundational knowledge of programming concepts, preferably with some exposure to JavaScript, TypeScript.
  • Proficiency in front-end libraries, particularly React.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and programming languages.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • English (C1 or higher).

It'D Be Nice To Have:

  • Exposure to back-end frameworks like Node.js/Express.
  • Basic understanding of databases (SQL).
  • Any personal projects or contributions to open-source initiatives.
  • Interest in cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
