Job Description
Job Summary:
The Compliance Paralegal provides assistance to the company, managing regulatory compliance, maintaining accurate records, and supporting finance, HR and operational teams. The role supports the external relationships of general counsel as well as the company insurance broker.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis for the company’s compliance efforts
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and editing legal documents, contracts, and policies
- Maintain and update the company’s compliance database
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Manage external relationships and billing of insurance providers and general counsel
- Support preparation and submission of regulatory filings and reports
- Assist in training and educating employees on compliance matters
- Oversee fleet management and administration of company rental car and credit card programs
- Primary focus on franchise agreements and FDDs
- Track and ensure contracts across the organization are up to date and filed properly
- Ensure timelines are met for annual renewals and required documents are provided

Qualifications
Education And Experience:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field required
- 2–3 years’ experience in a paralegal or compliance role preferred
- Proficient with data entry and Microsoft Suite
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Proficiency in using computers and standard office equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
