Job Description

This role shall assist the Governance Function to support the management of Subsidiary entity Boards and Committees, facilitate internal and Group reporting, and provide ongoing governance support to the business. The successful candidate shall report to the Executive Director, Governance. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Attend Board and Committee meetings and prepare minutes, record actions and liaise with colleagues on any output matters
  • Prepare memo’s, proposals and documents for Board/Committee review and consideration
  • Maintenance of corporate records and documents
  • Assist with subsidiary filing requirements with local Registrars and Regulators
  • Assist with Due Diligence requests
  • Assist with periodic reporting to Head Office and internal reporting to Boards and Committees
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within the business such as Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance and Planning on matters that relate to Subsidiary entities and Committees
  • Advise on corporate governance matters and best practice as well as updates on any changes in regulations and legislation
  • Ad hoc projects as and when they arise

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a business or legal related field preferred or relevant experience
  • Previous experience in financial services, fund administration, asset management, banking or client service
  • Computer skills with strengths in Microsoft Office products
