Job Description
The CLASS Office (Disability Resources) is seeking to hire 1 student for the 2025-26 academic year. The position is scheduled to work 5 hours a week. The scheduled hours may vary.
- The CLASS Office leads the Augsburg community in advancing disability access and equity. We welcome
- any student to apply for this position who wants to help us in upholding our mission. Here is what the
- Access Assistant role includes (training is provided):
- Read course materials aloud.
- Complete forms if they are not accessible.
- Assist with ensuring correct layout and formatting of material(s) to be submitted.
- Assist with reading inaccessible web content.
Work-study eligible students welcome.
Compensation And Benefits
- Rate of Pay: $15.97/hour
- Minnesota Sick and Safe Time
- Not eligible for health insurance benefits

Qualifications
- Students must be currently enrolled at Augsburg and must be work-study eligible.
- Computer skills: Recommended experience with formatting in Word and Excel.
- Attention to detail.
- Comfortable with managing multiple tasks at the same time.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidential student information when working on job tasks.
- Communication skills: Communicate well with students and staff in-person, on the phone, and in online interactions.
- Comfortable with and capable of reading material aloud.
- Task management and organizational skills: Problem solve and prioritize work related tasks.
- Flexibility in schedule: hours for this position will vary.
