Join the City of Pueblo as a Tax Compliance Technician!
In this role, you’ll work with local businesses to make sure they’re licensed and paying their city taxes correctly. You’ll visit businesses, help answer questions and provide guidance on how to stay in compliance with the City Sales and Use Tax Code. Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in general office work to include collections or legal or compliance or financial record-keeping duties.
- A valid driver’s license at the time of application, and a valid Colorado driver’s license within 30 days of employment
- License restrictions that may hinder your ability to drive on City business, such as an interlock, will be cause for disqualification.
- During the course of employment, a valid license must be maintained, and the employee must notify the City immediately upon changes to the status of their license.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in debt collection, summons server, or financial record-keeping duties.
