We are looking for a Group Manager with strong expertise in IT/OT for our business unit Road & Rail. AFRY has a leading position in Denmark within ITS. We design, develop, implement and operate as well as advice on intelligent solutions for transport infrastructure for future generations. You will be part of an ambitious, interdisciplinary team that takes pride in finding functional, secure and innovative solutions that work. ITS for roads, bridges, tunnels, and cities are our core business areas.
About The Tasks
As Group Manager for ITS, you will lead a team of IT engineers with a high level of expertise and great commitment. You will be at the forefront of both ongoing development and operation of ITS solutions, especially for the Danish Road Directorate, and for developing the ITS area both in Denmark and across borders in the Nordics and the European region. The goal is to maintain and expand AFRY's customer base and project portfolio.
In your daily work, you will ensure the quality execution of the team's tasks, including:
- Professional leadership of the team in collaboration with the technical team lead
- Direct and oversee complex ITS projects with a focus on cost, time, and quality
- Lead portfolio management activities, ensuring resources, priorities, and performance are aligned across multiple projects
- Relationship with existing customers, including project management of part of the task portfolio
- Internal collaboration within AFRY in the ITS area, and with colleagues in the traffic and installation areas
- Developing new customer relationships both in Denmark and internationally
- Estimating and preparing offers for customers
- Daily personnel management.

The position is expected to be taken over in the first quarter of 2026.
Qualifications
We imagine you will be a great fit for this role if you are motivated by both professional and personal growth, have a passion for leading both people and complex projects, and can demonstrate the following:
- A relevant technical degree, for example an IT engineer or similar
- 5-10 years of management experience
- Technical IT knowledge at a level with an understanding of context, challenges and solutions
- Experience with the development and implementation of new IT/OT solutions and subsequent operation and maintenance of these, preferably within the infrastructure area
- Experienced within the consulting industry and associated customer contact
- Experience with cybersecurity, IT systems, and IT networks
- Experience with ITS systems (Intelligent Transport Systems)
- Professional proficiency in both Danish and English, with good communication skills, both written and verbal
