Your Role:
As Payroll Specialist for German-speaking Switzerland you are responsible for support and performance of the payroll processing function, including entry and maintenance of payroll related data. Upholding the "4 eyes" principle you ensure accuracy for payroll data entries. Providing exemplary customer services by answering payroll related inquiries and build partnerships with peers, HR Business Partners, internal clients and vendors. You manage complex tax and social security tasks and serving as point of contact for external authorities if needed. Emphasizing continuous improvement and optimization opportunities, you take ownership of implementing enhancements. You are responsible for updating procedures and work instructions when necessary to achieve optimal operational efficiency.
Who You Are:
- 3+ years of experience in Swiss Payroll
- Experience of working with HR Shared Service Center
- In-depth knowledge of systems and technology that support payroll (Abacus- nice to have)
- Specific payroll expertise and strong knowledge in legal regulations, social security and tax system in Switzerland (HR Swiss exam nice to have)
- Focus on continuous improvement opportunities related to efficiency and payroll best practice and bring forward to Payroll Supervisor
- Ensure consistent utilization of company policy, standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with legal requirements
- Strong operational skills and
- Fluent German is a must and very good knowledge of English is required
