Responsibilities + Experience

  • Manual Machining & Setup: Set up and operate manual mills and saws, interpreting precision sheet metal blueprints and job travelers to ensure parts meet specified tolerances.
  • Measurement & Inspection: Proficient in using digital calipers, height gauges, protractors, and other inspection tools to perform first-piece and in-process verification, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Programming & Troubleshooting: Ability to edit and troubleshoot G&M code programs; experience with specialty tooling, tooling changes, and working with 3- and 4-axis CNC machinery is a strong plus.
  • Precision Machining: Demonstrated ability to machine components within tight tolerances, identifying and resolving issues in collaboration with area supervisors to maintain quality standards.
  • Safety, Cleanliness & Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, adhering to all company safety procedures and quality control protocols.
  • Team Collaboration & Flexibility: Contribute effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, supporting additional duties as assigned with a proactive and adaptable approach.
  • Physical & Practical Requirements: Able to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods (4+ hours), possess solid shop math skills, material knowledge, reliable transportation, and a clean driver’s license.
