About The Us Commercial Opsteam
The US Commercial Operations Team provides on-demand delivery of customer orders utilizing a fleet of Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), often referred to as drones. All flight operations in support of our customers needs, including processing customer orders, dispatching aircraft, controlling aircraft in flight, and maintaining the fleet. Operating under federal regulations, the Commercial Ops team ensures safe and compliant operations while meeting customer needs.
The Role
Engage with experts in the realm of uncrewed aircraft by taking part in the growth of one of the leading on-demand logistics operations. You will learn various aspects of a regulated flight operation by assisting with process improvement; enhancing technician training; and learning to assess, develop, and refine procedures. You will be asked to consult with subject matter experts to ensure holistic improvements for the benefit of multiple departments within the company.
What You'Ll Do
- Assist with data research, gather information from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, validity, and to assess regulatory implications.
- Organize, format, and produce high-quality documents that adhere to company style guidelines.
- Provide feedback and analysis to other departments including Engineering, Training, Safety, and Maintenance.
- Track and monitor implementation of process changes to evaluate effectiveness.
- Provide administrative and technical assistance on special projects.
What You'Ll Bring
- Desired qualifications include proficiency in Google and/or Microsoft software suites
- Experience with Jira/Confluence, Mode, ThoughtSpot, and SQL database management preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to communicate across programs and departments to gather data and request support
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast paced environment
- Ability to observe and document procedures, including in person shadowing of work being performed
What Else You Should Know
Our internships are full-time positions, in-person at our South San Francisco or Dallas office. We will host our Spring 2026 interns from January to April.
The starting cash range for this internship is $32 - 36/ hour. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. The final cash pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and working location. The total compensation package for each role may also include: a housing stipend; overtime pay; relocation support; paid sick time; and more.
