What'S Exciting About The Role

New Logo Acquisition

  • Proactively identify, engage, and convert new enterprise opportunities across key verticals.
  • Develop sector-specific strategies that align our Boundless Payments proposition to customer needs.
  • Deliver compelling, insight-led sales pitches that challenge the status quo and differentiate our offering.

Opportunity Management & Pipeline Ownership

  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and handover to our Relationship Management and Customer Success teams.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting, and reporting via Salesforce CRM.
  • Understand deal complexity, sales velocity, and buying signals to drive timely progression of deals.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Identify and engage key decision-makers, influencers, and gatekeepers within target organisations.
  • Map customer buying centres and uncover incumbent providers, their pain points, and the competitive landscape.
  • Build and manage multi-threaded relationships across both customer and internal teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with product, legal, pricing, marketing, and technical pre-sales to align internal resources behind your deals.
  • Champion the voice of the prospect internally to ensure our response is sharp, relevant, and unified.
  • Bring strategic insight to internal planning meetings to help shape future offerings and go-to-market tactics.

Market & Sector Insight

  • Stay up to date with payment ecosystem trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes.
  • Bring thought leadership to customer conversations and demonstrate a consultative, value-led sales approach.

Skills And Experience We Desire

  • Proven track record of winning new enterprise business in payments, fintech, or related tech sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the payment ecosystem including terminal hardware, gateway services, and acquiring.
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles and engaging senior stakeholders (C-level and procurement).
  • Ability to uncover customer drivers, map decision-making units, and tailor propositions to win.
  • Adept in using Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools for pipeline and forecast management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and commercially curious.
