Accounts Payable Specialist Position Details:

Location: Remote

Schedule:

• Pay: $20.50/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Payables Management:

• Meet deadlines as outlined in monthly close calendar.
• Manage AP group mailbox ensuring vendor Invoices are vouched timely.
• Scan mailed vendor Invoices and save In virtual vendor folders.
• Reconcile and code monthly credit card statements.
• Provide Information needed for monthly AP accrual.
• Reconcile subcontractor invoices to time entry in Company system.
• Prepare, code and enter batches of vendor invoices in ERP; submit batches to Controller for review and approval.
• Provide cash requirements report for payment approval.
• Setup ACH/wires in bank for approved vendor payments.
• Post vendor payments in ERP.
• Record bank debits from vendors correctly and timely.

Payables Maintenance:

• Reconciliation of vendor accounts to vendor statements and routine maintenance of accounts.
• Respond to vendor inquiries promptly.
• Request refunds of overpayments from inactive vendors.

Other Duties As Assigned:

• Assist in pulling vendor invoices, payment support for annual audits or as requested.
• Backup to accounts receivable.
• Special projects. 

Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL, SAP, Oracle, Sage Intacct, NetSuite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated and organized individual.
• Ability to work independently within a team environment.
• Detail oriented and organized Microsoft Excel proficiency.

Minimum Required Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma required.
• Three years of accounts payable experience required.

Preferred Education And/Or Experience Requirements:

• Two-Year Degree preferred.
• Experience in Professional Services or Managed Services environment.
