Design Packaging That Customers Remember — And The Planet Appreciates

At Loop, packaging isn’t just a protective shell — it’s part of the product experience. This role puts you at the core of how our products look, feel, and arrive in customers’ hands. Instead of working on a narrow slice of the process, you’ll work across the full lifecycle — influencing design, validating materials, and setting the standards for how packaging supports a growing portfolio of tech-forward products. As A Packaging Engineer, You’Ll Lead Design From Concept To Production Across Multiple Launches

You’ll take on packaging projects end-to-end, starting with design reviews and finishing with supplier-ready specs and validation. On any day, you could be defining testing plans, optimizing a carton for volume efficiency, or exploring a new material that balances brand feel and recyclability. You’ll work directly with product development, operations, and design teams to build packaging that reflects Loop’s brand standards and performs across global supply chains. Your choices will shape how people experience our products — before they even touch them.

Your Other Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers to choose finishes and materials that match both brand and function
• Create and lead test plans to validate packaging performance
• Work with Ops and Quality to smooth the path from pilot run to full production
• Support on-the-ground production and identify improvements during builds
• Draft and review specs and ensure alignment with suppliers and internal teams

How You’Ll Succeed As A Packaging Engineer

You’ll bring a curious mind, a structured approach, and a willingness to go deep into the details. You’ll move confidently between design, manufacturing, and logistics, understanding the role of packaging at every touchpoint. These key competences will set you up for success:

• Hands-on experience with consumer packaging, especially paper-based and molded solutions
• Technical understanding of finishes, tolerances, and packaging durability
• Knowledge of validation and production testing processes
• Interest in sustainable packaging innovation
• Proven ability to write clear specs and manage supplier communication
