ServiceNow Senior Configurator/ Tech Lead (PL762)

Location: Fully Remote within India

Duration: 12 Months contract (with possible extension)

About The Role:

Our client, a leading consulting firm, is seeking a ServiceNow Senior Configurator / Tech Lead to join their team on a fully remote basis. This is a hands-on role with leadership responsibilities, ideal for someone with strong ServiceNow expertise who enjoys guiding teams while actively contributing to development work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the technical lead for all ServiceNow development activities within the India-based team.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to Configurators and developers, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Conduct peer reviews to maintain quality and consistency in development work.
• Actively work on user stories, configurations, and customizations within the ServiceNow platform.
• Ensure alignment with ServiceNow best practices, standards, and governance.
• Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and other technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

• · Strong hands-on experience with at least three of the following ServiceNow modules:
• o ITSM (IT Service Management)
• o HRSD (Human Resources Service Delivery)
• o SPM (Service Portfolio Management)
• o ITOM (IT Operations Management)
• o GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance)
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of ServiceNow Configurators/Developers.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow development best practices, design patterns, and configurations.
• Experience with peer reviews, quality assurance, and solution governance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team.
• Ability to balance hands-on development work with leadership and mentoring responsibilities.

Nice to Have / Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in large-scale enterprise implementations.
• Knowledge of integration with external systems using APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
