Eliot Community Human Services’ Encompass Program is a DCF referral-based service that leverages peer-to-peer mentoring to provide support, education, and stabilization for foster families. With our two tiered model of support, we have the ability to assist foster parents who are navigating a growing level of need or crisis in their homes, as well as those who would benefit from training, education, and support on parenting through a trauma lens.

The ideal candidate for the Program Supervisor position is a detail-oriented and solution-focused leader. This person should possess strong supervisory skills to oversee staff, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with program and agency standards. They must also be a skilled communicator who can build positive relationships with diverse populations and collaborate effectively with community partners and agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assure the orientation of new staff to the Service and the Agency.
  • Participate in the initial and ongoing training schedules developed for the Foster Care Specialists.
  • Provide documented weekly individual and/or group clinical supervision and administrative oversight to assigned staff.
  • Follow closely any families engaged in the program who are in crisis and participate in service and crisis planning for said families with staff, DCF and other collaterals.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of individualized action/treatment plans, ensuring services are tailored to each family’s identified needs and goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate ongoing progress toward goals, ensuring plans remain responsive to family needs.
  • Collaborate with Kid’s Net Regional Directors, MAFF Advisory Committee and other Family Resource Liaisons (FRLs) regarding referrals and to prevent duplication of services.
  • Participate in regular outreach activities to ensure DCF and other collaterals in the community are aware of the program and refer families as needed.
  • Monitor productivity and ensure benchmarks are being met.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience or Master’s degree.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation 

Schedule: 16 hours per week, flexible 

Annual Salary$20,000$22,000 USD
