The SVP, Digital is a transformative leader responsible for shaping and executing the digital strategy across our Network of Agencies. This role oversees the digital department supporting both internal service lines and external partner relationships. The SVP will drive innovation, operational excellence, and strategic transformation to elevate digital capabilities, enhance client engagement, and deliver measurable business impact.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital strategies that align with overall business goals and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Define and communicate a compelling vision, mission, and value proposition for the digital function across the agency network.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align digital initiatives with broader business goals and talent strategy.

Digital Transformation

  • Oversee the adoption and integration of new digital technologies and processes to enhance efficiency, innovation, and scalability across the organization.
  • Lead digital readiness assessments and transformation roadmaps to future-proof the agency network.

Team Development & Oversight

  • Build and manage a high-performing team of digital experts, including platform technologists, UX architects, analytics specialists, and solution architects.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor digital and technology teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Ensure cross-functional integration with Creative, Studio, Production, Project Management, and Account teams.

Client & Partner Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external partners, acting as a trusted advisor on digital matters.
  • Lead decisions on in-house vs. external digital partnerships, ensuring strategic fit and scalability.
  • Represent the digital function in client pitches, executive forums, and strategic planning sessions.

Innovation & Growth

  • Drive new initiatives, identify market trends, and create innovative solutions to expand the company’s digital presence and revenue.
  • Evaluate and scale digital solutions for repeatability and flexibility across client engagements, driving recurring revenue.
  • Oversee the development and commercialization of digital products and platforms.

Key Tasks

  • Develop and execute digital strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives across the agency network.
  • Manage and mentor cross-functional digital teams.
  • Build and nurture client and partner relationships.
  • Identify and act on emerging digital trends and innovation opportunities.
  • Oversee digital analytics, performance measurement, and reporting.
  • Manage digital budget planning and resource allocation.
  • Ensure seamless integration of digital capabilities across service lines.
  • Support new business efforts through omnichannel planning and tactical innovation.
  • Champion the Digital team both within and outside of AQ leading client innovation forums and engagements with life science industry thought leaders
  • Promote and adhere to Precision AQ’s workplace values known as Precision Principles (Client Service, Purpose, Accountability, Mutual Respect and Collaboration)

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Media, Communications, Technology, or related field

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 20 years of experience in digital technology, strategy and execution
  • Hands-on experience in the various digital competencies of this leadership role including but not limited to digital/social, data/analytics, technology, innovation, CRM/DXP platforms
  • Experience building and scaling a digital team to enable repeatable delivery and profitable growth through annual and/or monthly recurring revenue
  • Demonstrated broad influence leading cross-functionally in organizations and managing and developing teams to drive growth
  • Understanding of emerging technologies, platforms and methodologies in life science or consumer goods commercialization and digital promotion including marketing automation platforms, artificial intelligence, and machine learning
