Job Description

What You'Ll Do:

• Implement Innovative Features:  Develop features for ESET's global websites, including www.eset.com, ESET CMS, ESET Science Award, and WeLiveSecurity BLOG.  
• Agile Team Collaboration (SCRUM):  Actively contribute to daily stand-ups, bi-weekly SCRUM sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews, focusing on targeted objectives for efficient development.  
• Continuous Learning:  Proactively acquire new skills, writing code that is easily readable, modifiable, and conducive to automated testing for robust solutions.  

What do we expect from you:   

Education:

• Minimum secondary education with school-leaving examination  

Experience:

• Experienced PHP developer with knowledge of one major frameworks like Laravel, Symfony   

Language:

• English - Upper intermediate (B2)   

Personality Requirements And Skills:

• Proactive and innovative, with a track record of proposing and implementing advancements over time.   
• Advocate for best practices, including design patterns, SOLID principles, automated tests, and comprehensive documentation, with a strong emphasis on code reviews.   
• Demonstrates a strong interest in emerging technologies, such as microservices, AI, cloud services, showcasing enthusiasm for the continuous improvement of ESET’s websites.    

Basic wage component (gross): from 2900 EUR  

The final basic wage component is subject to adjustment based on individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.   

Performance bonus 2 times per year up to 10% of the basic salary paid for the evaluation period (usually 6 months).
